If you are a UK taxpayer please do consider making a Gift Aid declaration, which will increase the value of your donation by 25 per cent. It allows charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift at no extra cost to you.

The number of people with food allergies in the UK and the number of hospitalisations have doubled in the UK in the last two decades. The UK’s food allergy charity, named after Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who died aged 15 from a severe allergic reaction in 2016, aims to make the world safer for people with allergies through clinical research, campaigning and education.

Every pound donated will be matched up to £100,000 thanks to Morrisons, with a further £100,000 matched by M&S.

Men account for 75 per cent of all suicides in the UK. Last year the suicide rate in England and Wales was at its highest since 1999. James’ Place was founded by the parents of James Wentworth-Stanley, who took his own life at 21 in 2006. Its three centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle offer free life-saving therapy to suicidal men.

Every pound donated will be matched up to £165,000 thanks to an anonymous private donor, Fenwick, The Henry Oldfield Trust, and The Nick Kilhams Foundation.

An estimated 5.4 million children live in orphanages around the world, despite research indicating that 80 per cent of them are not orphans. Hope and Homes for Children works across nine countries to get children out of orphanages where they are at risk of violence, neglect and trafficking. The charity reunites children with their family or finds them a foster home.

Every pound donated will be matched up to £500,000 by an anonymous private donor.
